Insurance lead management built into your calculators

Not every agency wants to wire up a CRM on day one. Every lead lands in a built-in contacts list, matched to existing records, with the calculation, notes and a status you can move as the conversation progresses.

The built-in contacts list is a lightweight lead workspace inside InsuranceQuoteWidget. Each contact holds every calculator submission they made, their consent and campaign source, plus notes and a status your team sets. Contacts are de-duplicated by email, then phone. It works on its own or alongside HighLevel and other CRMs fed by webhook.

How it works, step by step

Built-in contacts

  1. A lead arrives

The visitor submits a calculator's lead form and the submission is saved with its inputs and results.

  2. It is matched

If the email, or failing that the phone, already exists in your agency, the submission joins that contact.

  3. Someone is alerted

An email notification goes out unless you have switched it off.

  4. The producer works it

Add notes from the call and move the status as the prospect progresses.

  5. The CRM gets a copy

Where webhooks are set up, the same lead is posted to HighLevel or your CRM.

What you get

Full calculation on file

Every input and result stays attached to the contact.

Email, then phone matching

Repeat visitors build one record, not several.

Notes and statuses

Track each conversation without leaving the dashboard.

Isolated workspaces

Each agency's contacts are kept separate, with two-factor sign-in.

Why have a contacts list if the agency already has a CRM?

Because webhooks and workflows can be misconfigured, paused or changed by someone else, and a lead that only lived in transit would be lost. The built-in list keeps a complete record of every submission, including the full calculation. It is also the fastest way to start: you can work leads on day one, then connect the CRM later.

Smaller agencies and solo producers often find it is enough on its own for website leads. Larger shops use it as the source of truth to reconcile against their HighLevel or CRM sync.

How does de-duplication work for repeat visitors?

Contacts are matched within your agency by email first and then by phone. When a returning visitor submits again, perhaps after changing their mortgage balance or trying a second calculator, the new submission is appended to their existing record. You see one person with a history of calculations, not several partial leads.

That history is useful on its own. A prospect who reruns a long-term care calculator with a shorter time horizon is telling you their timeline has moved.

How do teams share contacts safely?

Each agency works in its own isolated workspace, and team members join as seats. The Agency plan includes 5 seats and the Enterprise plan has unlimited seats. Sign-in supports two-factor authentication, traffic runs over HTTPS and stored credentials are encrypted at rest.

Lead records contain personal and financial details the visitor chose to share, so treat them like any client file: give access only to people who need it, and follow your agency's privacy notice. See security for more.

FAQ

Questions agencies ask

Answers first, details after.

Is the built-in contacts list a full CRM?

No. It is a focused lead list with notes and statuses, designed so no calculator lead is lost and producers can work leads straight away. For pipelines, sequences and dialers, send leads on to HighLevel or your CRM by webhook.

Do leads appear here even if I use a webhook?

Yes. Every lead is stored in the contacts list and also posted to your webhook, so the built-in list doubles as a backup and audit trail.

How many contacts can I store?

The Producer plan stores 100 contacts and the Agency plan 10,000. The Enterprise plan is unlimited. Every plan includes the insurance calculators; compare limits on pricing.

What happens when I reach my contact limit?

New leads are not saved while you are over the limit, although the visitor still sees a success message. You are emailed, at most once a day, so you can upgrade or tidy up before more leads are missed.

Can I see what a contact calculated on an earlier visit?

Yes. Each submission is appended to the contact, so you see every calculation they made, in order, with inputs and results.

Can several producers work the same list?

Yes. Invite team members as seats on your agency workspace. Use notes and statuses so everyone can see who has spoken to whom.

Can I turn off the email alerts?

Yes. Lead email alerts can be switched off, which suits teams that work leads entirely from HighLevel or another CRM.

Is my clients' data kept separate from other agencies?

Yes. Each agency works in an isolated workspace. Sign-in supports two-factor authentication, connections use HTTPS and stored credentials are encrypted at rest.
