In short
InsuranceQuoteWidget respects intellectual property rights and expects its customers to do the same. Agencies host text, images, logos and custom styling in calculators and widgets they publish through our service. If you believe something hosted through the service infringes your copyright, this page explains how to tell us, under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Send notices to our designated copyright agent at [email protected], with "DMCA notice" in the subject line.
Under 17 U.S.C. 512(c)(3), a notice must be in writing and include:
Incomplete notices may not be acted on. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing can make you liable for damages under 17 U.S.C. 512(f).
We remove or disable access to the material promptly and notify the customer who published it, including a copy of the notice.
If your material was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, send a counter-notice to [email protected] that includes:
We forward the counter-notice to the original complainant. Unless they tell us within 10 business days that they have filed a court action, we may restore the material within 10 to 14 business days after receiving the counter-notice.
We terminate, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of customers who are repeat infringers. We may also remove material or suspend accounts without a notice where infringement is clear.
Trademark concerns, such as an agency misusing a carrier's logo, are not covered by the DMCA, but we review them under the acceptable use policy. Send them to [email protected].
