Changelog

What's new and changed

Short, dated notes on what has shipped. We list only changes that are live; work in progress appears here once it is released, not before.

This changelog records released changes to InsuranceQuoteWidget and its website, newest first. It launched on October 17, 2026 with the insurance calculators organized by line of business, a multilingual site structure, a language setting for embedded calculators, and release flagging that keeps unfinished calculators off the site until they go live.

Release notes

  1. Calculators in six languages

Every calculator now runs in English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Arabic, with Arabic laid out right to left. Embeds on this site's Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Arabic pages open in that language, and visitors can still switch.

  2. Twenty more insurance calculators go live

Property & casualty, auto, business and specialty calculators are live, along with critical illness, final expense, term vs whole life, mortgage protection, health plan comparison, ACA premium tax credit and Medicare IRMAA. Every line of business now has its own hub, for 30 calculators in all.

  3. Insurance calculators on every plan

The insurance calculators are now included on every plan, starting with the free Producer plan, which embeds up to 5 calculators. Agency and Enterprise add higher limits, webhooks and white-label.

  4. Release flagging for calculators

Calculator pages now publish automatically when a calculator goes live in the app, and stay unpublished until then. Calculators still in development are listed as such, without a page.

  5. Language setting for embedded calculators

Embedded calculators accept a language setting, so a calculator on a Spanish page can open in Spanish. Visitors can still switch between English and Spanish themselves.

  6. Multilingual site, starting with Spanish

The website is built to serve each language under its own path, with English at the root. Spanish is the first additional language; the calculator interface already runs in English and Spanish.

  7. Insurance calculators organized by line

Ten insurance calculators went live, grouped by line of business: life, health, income protection (disability and long-term care) and annuities, with a hub page for each line that has a live calculator.

  8. insurancequotewidget.com launches

The InsuranceQuoteWidget website went live, with a page for each released insurance calculator, feature and solution pages, guides for embedding on popular website builders, and pricing.

What goes into this changelog?

Changes a customer or visitor would notice: new calculators going live, new embed options, new languages, and changes to how leads are delivered. Each entry has a date and a plain description. We don't list planned work as if it were shipped; calculators in development appear here on the day they are released.

For the current list of live calculators, see calculators by line. Plan changes are reflected on the pricing page.

Why don't in-development calculators have pages yet?

A calculator page is published only once the calculator is live in the app. Until then it appears in listings as in development, with no page, so nobody embeds or links to a tool that isn't ready. When a calculator is released, its page is published automatically and the release is noted here.

There are 30 insurance calculators live today across 9 lines of business.

How can I hear about new calculators?

Check this page, or follow the line hubs for the lines you write — each hub lists its live calculators and those in development. When a calculator you're waiting for goes live, it appears on its hub and here on the same day. If you need a specific line for your agency, tell us through the contact page.

Requests help us decide what to build next, but we can't promise dates for calculators still in development.

FAQ

Questions agencies ask

Answers first, details after.

How often is the changelog updated?

Whenever something visible is released. There's no fixed schedule; an entry is added on the day a change goes live.

Do I need to update my embed code after a release?

Usually not. Calculators load from your account each time, so improvements reach your site without changing the code. If a release ever requires a change, the entry will say so.

Why are all the first entries on the same date?

They describe what was in place when the site launched on October 17, 2026. Later entries will be dated as each change ships.

Will in-development calculators be announced here?

Yes, on the day each one goes live. Until then they appear only as in development on the line hubs and calculators listing.

Which lines have live calculators today?

All of them: life, health, Medicare-age planning, income protection, annuities, property & casualty, auto, business and specialty.

Which languages do the calculators support?

English, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese and Arabic. We'll log any new language here when it's released, rather than announce dates in advance.

Can I request a calculator or feature?

Yes, through the contact page. Tell us the line, the question your prospects ask and where you'd embed it. Requests inform priorities, but we don't commit to dates.

Do plan or price changes appear in the changelog?

Current plans and prices are always on the pricing page, which is the source to rely on. Significant changes to what a plan includes will also be noted here.
